Psalms 110

1 Psalm of David. A declaration of Jehovah to my Lord: Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies as Your footstool.

Matthew 22

44 "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit off My right until I should put Your hostile ones as a footstool for Your feet?"

Psalms 110

2 Jehovah shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion to rule in the midst of Your enemies.

3 Your people shall have willingness in the day of Your might; in the majesties of holiness; from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

4 Jehovah has sworn and will not repent: You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 6

20 where Jesus entered as forerunner for us, having become a High Priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.

**Note: The Psalms do NOT have double-meanings. In NO WAY was David a High Priest. So Psalm 110 (and all the Psalms) are NEVER talking about the penmen. There are simply too many verses that CANNOT be applied to the penman's own experience (such as the one above).

Psalms 110

5 The Lord at Your right hand shatters kings in the day of His anger.

Acts 2

25 For David said as to Him, "I always foresaw the Lord before Me, because He is at My right hand, that I not be moved.

Psalms 110

6 He shall judge among the nations; He shall fill with dead bodies; He shall shatter heads over much land.

Acts 17

31 because He set a day in which "He is going to judge the habitable world in righteousness," by a Man whom He appointed; having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead. Quoting P9:8
